PR and Broadcast Placement

We achieve substantial improvements in our clients’ reputations by telling their stories to the senior media:

  • Broadcast
  • Broadsheets
  • Berliners
  • The best tabloids and magazines
  • Online

These include business writers, technology, education and environment and consumer journalists.

We advise on clients’ brand positioning.

Broadcast

The CIS (Co-operative Insurance Service) wanted to gain wide broadcast coverage for its road crash safety video co-produced with the charity Brake.

Working closely with the CFS press team and the Department of Transport, and using sensitive deployment of the video’s real life case studies we achieved news coverage on all the main TV channels (BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky) as well as 22 regional TV and radio stations.

It helped to position CIS as a responsible insurer, concerned with both road safety and the community.

Launch preparation: media training and messaging

The Personal Finance Education Group (chaired by Ron Sandler) turned to us for the media preparation for the launch of its Excellence and Access programme. Rehearsing messages for a major roll-out to schools across the UK, confidence with broadcasters and print journalists was vital to pfeg’s core team of four.

Pfeg continues to be a regular commentator on personal finance education issues.

Financial press

When our client the University of Exeter wanted to launch its new £4 million Centre for Finance and Investment to the financial community, we advised them to field some under-used M&A research to selected journalists.

We prepared and packaged two related but different streams of research. During launch week this resulted in Monday’s lead story in the FT’s Companies section, followed by features in The Economist and The Times.
