Who we are

Matthew Locke, founder director

In a 12 year PR career Matthew has advised on cross-border take over bids, launched new stock exchanges and market places, and become expert in getting coverage for start-ups and spin-outs.

He has run crisis PR in the telecoms and oil industries and managed multi-market campaigns.

Before PR he worked in marketing at Kleinwort Benson and advertising at DMB&B Financial (now Masius). He spent nine years with Polhill, Hill and Knowlton and Hill Murray before setting up the Broadcast PR Business in 2002.

He has won two Institute of Public Relations awards:

Best City campaign 2000 for OM Group’s take-over bid for the London Stock Exchange (at H&K)

Best Business campaign 1998 for the DTI’s better payment practice campaign (at Polhill)

Heather Fearfield, founder director

Heather is an experienced TV and radio news journalist, film director and programme producer. She has covered many stories involving businesses, government, the emergency services, science and the environment, and education. Heather is also a specialist in presentation and media training.

She has produced network coverage for the Co-operative with the Department of Transport, the English Tourist Board, Tate & Lyle and Co-operative Insurance Services. She has made television features on government training schemes and work-place issues.

At BBC World Service she produced international news during the Gulf War.

She has also worked for Invicta and Capital Radio, TVAM, and Granada Television. She has many years experience handling client stories for live and pre-recorded transmission.
